We provide seasonal & sustainable foods: wild picked morels in season, Freedom Ranger chickens, free ranged turkey, pastured rose veal, grass fed beef, mountain raised chevon, heirloom pumpkins, all heirloom and non-GMO vegetables. Visit our website for more information. Our Boer breedstock is known for their extreme hardiness and bred-in mothering and kidding ease and wonderful color and genetics. We do not feed medicated feeds which low dose antibiotics to enhance growth and allow our herd as much access to natural feed's as possible. Our meat goats are tender and mild tasting from the high quality mountain grasses and browse.
The cattle eat the grass and alfalfa grown here and on pasture and the chickens and turkeys are allowed true free range from May to the first snow's in the winter. We grow many different types of greens and root veg and a plethora of heirloom pumpkins and squash with only natural homegrown compost and organic approved diatomaceous earth for insect control. We are partnering with friends to offer both raw and processed fine alpaca fiber.
We use ancient methods of 'filtering' of locally produced beeswax to create the cleanest burning locally grown and produced candles using 100% cotton wicking. Our honey sugar and goat milk soap is from locally produced ingredients.
Chickens and turkeys are professionally processed and cattle and goats are USDA processed and packaged unless otherwise requested.
